    Statement


    In my work I seek to question the power and the ability of photography
    to replicate by placing ideas of the unique and the original alongside
    those of the reproduction and the duplicate.

    Through these dichotomies I craft a visual experience of the relationship
    between the body and the self. By juxtaposing unique, hand-crafted c-type prints,
    alongside Xeroxes, found photographs, and video within installation,
    I create and transform figurative forms into new and ambiguous beings.

    My intention, through creating a dialogue between these diverse forms, is to
    trigger an emotional response within the viewer which elicits a resonance
    associated with loss, desire, mortality, love, absence and longing.
